EAT BREAKFAST AT SCHOOL! Program begin September 3, 2019

Monday - Friday
High school eats at 7 a.m.  - 7:25 a.m.

Middle School eats at 7:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.

Mornings can be really crazy…the alarm doesn’t go off…the kids don’t want to get up…there’s no time to eat breakfast before you leave the house…or they’re just not ready to eat. Or maybe your teenager grabs a can of soda and a candy bar on the way to school. If this sounds like your house, we have good news for you.

Breakfast is served at school! School breakfast will give your child a healthy start to the day.  A nutritious breakfast helps students be more alert so they can learn more in class. Breakfast has vitamins and nutrients for a strong and healthy body.

Breakfast at school is affordable, too. If you qualify for free and reduced price meals, you also qualify for the breakfast program, with no additional paperwork. You can’t find a healthy breakfast at such a low cost anywhere else.

Help your child start the day right with school breakfast!

School Meals Program

Our School is now CEP certified!! Every child gets to eat for free no matter your income status.

In order for us to keep our status we need for every family to fill our the Household Information Survey. Make sure that is filled out completely and honestly.

You only need to submit one Household Information Survey per family, even if your children attend more than one school in Hope of Detroit Academy.

Please follow these instructions in order! Each step of the instructions is the same as the steps on your application. If at any time you are not sure what to do next, please contact Ms. D. Richards,  4444 35th Street Detroit, MI 48210, 313-788-1122.
